Cloud Cost Calculator by Intelibliss is now available on the ServiceNow Store. It fetches virtual machine pricing from AWS and Azure directly into ServiceNow, so the people requesting and approving cloud resources can see what they’ll cost before anything is provisioned.

The problem it solves
Cloud pricing is complicated and it changes. Each provider has its own price list, its own instance families and its own regional variations, and keeping a spreadsheet of all that current is a job nobody wants. The result is that cost estimates are either out of date or done by hand each time, and forecasting multi-cloud spend becomes guesswork.
The calculator is for ServiceNow customers with multi-cloud estates, and for the operations and finance teams who have to manage them. It gives them a current, provider-sourced price for the resources they’re about to request, inside the platform they already use.
How it works
- Integration. Connect your AWS or Azure price book to the Cloud Cost Calculator. The connection uses your own credentials and stays within your instance.
- Data fetching. The app retrieves pricing for the selected provider automatically, so the figures reflect the provider’s current rates rather than a copy someone made last quarter.
- Cost analysis. Choose a VM size, region and operating system and the app shows an estimated monthly cost with a breakdown.
- Optimisation. Use the comparison and the recommendations to pick a cheaper configuration or provider where one exists.
What’s in the app
Automatic cost retrieval. Up to date VM pricing is pulled from AWS and Azure, which removes manual data entry and the errors that come with it.
Cost comparison. Compare the cost of equivalent configurations across AWS and Azure and see which fits the requirement at the lower price.
Cost centre integration. Link estimates to cost centres and budgets, and track planned, actual and remaining amounts. This is the piece that turns a calculator into a budgeting control.
A simple interface. The app is a ServiceNow application with its own portal pages, so getting a price takes a few clicks rather than a trip to each provider’s pricing page.
Real-time pricing. Because prices are fetched rather than stored, changes in provider pricing show up in your estimates when they happen.
Who should look at it
If you’re running ServiceNow Cloud Provisioning and Governance, or just handling cloud requests through the catalogue, and your approvers are asking “how much will this cost?”, this is the answer. The app is compatible with the Xanadu release and later and is listed as a paid application on the ServiceNow Store. Search for “Cloud Cost Calculator - Intelibliss” on the Store, or get in touch and we’ll walk you through it.
